What do you think?

"If you learn with your body, you never forget'

What is TPR actually?

Learning a language by total physical response = it's learning by doing.

Classical TPR:
  • use of imperative form
  • every word attached to physical action
  • no translation = thinking in the target language
Is this the same as the idea that you had before the workshop?

Multiple Intelligences

Today we had the workshop!

First we heard something about Multiple Intelligences and how we can use them in our lessons.
'Everybody had it's own unique combination of intelligences'.
"It's not how smart you are, it's how you are smart!"

Which intelligences do you have?
In which way can you use multiple intelligences in your lessons?

Before the workshop

"Total physical response"
Only the name makes me enthousiastic!
Think how children can learn a language by doing what they say and see.
Tomorrow we will have a lesson/training. I'm excited because I think it will be very usefull. I do not expect a long day with much information and sitting at my chair all the time. We'll experience and actually test TPR by doing. :)
I'm curious what we've learned at the end of the day!
